London Fusion Repairs Terms & Conditions

1. Appliance Repairs

1.1. Our flat-rate service fee covers all engineer visits, labor, and diagnostic work necessary to resolve the fault as initially described by you, regardless of the number of visits required.

1.2. Any replacement parts required are billed separately unless clearly stated otherwise.

1.3. While we aim to fix most home appliances, availability of replacement parts depends on the appliance’s brand, model, type, and production year. Once an appliance is discontinued, the manufacturer only supplies parts for a limited time.

1.4. Payments must be made either before or during the first visit, via cash or debit/credit card (except American Express). Payment for ordered parts is required on the return visit. For special or high-cost parts, pre-payment may be necessary. Unused but prepaid parts will be refunded.

1.5. Our engineers will visit at the scheduled time to perform repairs. If needed parts aren’t available during the visit, we aim to order them within 1–2 working days. Delivery may take up to 5 working days if in stock; rare items might take up to 14 days or longer, especially if sourced internationally. Once parts arrive, we will contact you to arrange the completion of the repair.

1.6. While we strive to keep to agreed appointment slots (including online bookings), unforeseen circumstances may prevent us from attending. In such cases, we will rearrange the appointment with you.

1.7. We don’t service commercial-grade appliances, though we may repair domestic ones in commercial locations—but these are not covered by our guarantee.

1.8. We are not liable for any losses before, during, or after the service, including but not limited to loss of food or laundry issues.

1.9. Each appliance in your home is billed separately. If you want more than one appliance serviced, each will be charged at our standard repair rate.

1.10. You must provide free parking or a valid permit for our engineer. If not, you may be billed for parking, as well as congestion or ULEZ zone fees where applicable.

1.11. If a repair needs two or more engineers (e.g., stacked units), extra charges may apply. Contact us for details.

1.12. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to decline installing any parts not supplied through London Fusion Repairs or our representatives.

1.13. Missed appointments where access is not granted will incur a charge of £45 + VAT.

1.14. Landlords or agencies must make payment before any engineer is dispatched. Appointments are not confirmed until payment is received.

2. The London Fusion Repairs Network

2.1. At times, a repair may be handled by a local technician within our network rather than directly by London Fusion Repairs. These engineers are thoroughly vetted and considered equal to our in-house team. Your terms, charges, and warranties remain unchanged, and the attending engineer is responsible for the quality of the work and any damages due to negligence.

3. Issues That May Arise During Repair

3.1. If a fault arises due to misuse, poor installation, or isn’t as initially described, we may charge the full labor fee.

3.2. If parts cannot be sourced to complete the repair, the labor fee will still apply.

3.3. Some repairs need the appliance to be fully accessible. If it cannot be safely accessed, we may cancel the repair and charge the full labor rate.

3.4. Please give as much notice as possible if canceling. If work has already started, full labor charges will apply.

3.5. You must ensure safe access for installation or removal. While we take care not to damage property, we are only liable for damage due to our negligence. Insufficient access may void your contract. Any damage must be reported at the time or within 48 hours to our Service Manager.

3.6. If repairs are uneconomical or parts are obsolete/unavailable, labor will still be charged. Any unused fitted parts will be refunded or not billed after removal.

3.7. Non-payment will result in recovery action, including third-party debt collection or legal proceedings. Additional costs, a £30 admin fee, and interest may be applied.

4. Guarantee Period

4.1. All repairs by London Fusion Repairs or its representatives are guaranteed for six months for labor and parts. This excludes unrelated breakdowns and becomes void if the appliance is moved, repaired, or parts installed by anyone else since our last visit.

5. Contacting Us or Making a Complaint

5.1. Please call us first with any concerns. If unresolved, email your complaint to office@londonfusionrepairs.co.uk.
